Dispatched out of Fort Mitchell, AL — our own trucks run the Chattahoochee Valley daily and cover five direct interstate lanes
DISCLAIMER: When I send this form I confirm I am 18 or older and agree to let Atomic Moving and Labor reach me by phone, text, or email about the move details I provided. This does not commit you to booking anything.
I’m Cole Ferris, and before this company existed I spent years running day-labor crews outside the Fort Moore gate, loading rental trucks for soldiers who had a report date and not much time to get there. Nobody on a PCS timeline cares about your excuses — the truck either gets loaded right the first time, or a family's belongings show up broken three states away. That job taught me more about moving than any training manual could have.
Starting my own outfit in 2015 meant taking that same standard and applying it to every kind of move, not just PCS loads. A homeowner in Phenix City doesn't care that I used to work gate traffic — they care that the crew shows up on time, treats their dining table like it matters, and charges exactly what we quoted. So I built this company around three things I wasn't willing to bend on: a real number before the truck moves, our own trained crew on every job, and a phone that gets answered by someone who actually knows what's on the schedule.
Those same three things still run the whole operation, just with more hands on deck now. Brianna Sutton keeps the office and the calendar straight. Trace Boykin plots every route around the Chattahoochee bridges and the Fort Moore gate schedule before a truck ever leaves the yard. Dallas Kimbrel runs the long-distance and specialty jobs, and Renee Hargrove leads the labor-only crews and the packing side, pianos and gun safes included. We've all worked together long enough that a job rarely needs more than a quick heads-up between us.
I still put my name on the week's schedule before it goes out, and I still climb into the truck myself on the longer interstate hauls. Not because the crew needs babysitting — they don't — but because the day I stop knowing what a real moving day feels like is the day this place turns into just another logo on a truck.
and Cole is still the one signing paychecks out of the Fort Mitchell yard
five states we drive to regularly, always our own truck end to end
answer the phone, drive the truck, and sign the invoice — no rotating cast of strangers
24 people left a rating, and we didn't hand-pick which ones you get to read
A steep gravel driveway, a long carry from the only spot the truck can park, a narrow mill-house stairwell — whatever the job involves gets priced in before your date is confirmed, not discovered once the crew is standing in your living room.
You will never get a driver we found last-minute from a gig app. The title on every truck says Atomic, and the person driving it collects a paycheck from Atomic too — Trace has your crew locked in days before your date, not scrambled together that morning.
A piano that has been in the family two generations, a gun safe bolted into a closet, a curio cabinet full of glassware — Renee’s crew handles these deliberately, not on the same clock as a box of paperbacks.
The yard is a real address off Highway 165, not a P.O. box, and the paperwork behind it — Alabama standing, federal DOT/MC authority, our own storage bay — is something you can ask to see, not just take our word for.
Brianna answers the phone straight from our Fort Mitchell office. Between the five of them, this team quotes, dispatches, packs, and drives just about every kind of the Chattahoochee Valley move — they've worked together long enough that most jobs run on a quick heads-up, not a meeting.

Runs the schedule and is usually the first voice a customer hears.

Plots routes around the Chattahoochee River bridges and the Fort Moore gate schedule.

Handles the long-distance loads and anything headed out of state on PCS orders.

Leads the labor-only crews — loading rental trucks and PODs without a truck of our own involved.
Nobody farms your job out to a subcontractor bidding it lowest — Cole owns the trucks, signs the paychecks, and stands behind the same crew you booked. None of it is a secret:
