Where We Move Families and Businesses

Atomic Moving and Labor is based in Fort Mitchell, which puts us a few minutes from just about everywhere in the Chattahoochee Valley — close enough to Columbus that Trace Boykin can dispatch a crew across the river faster than some Georgia-based companies can get there themselves. We built this business around the rhythm of this area: PCS season at Fort Moore, college move-in weekends in Auburn, and the steady flow of families relocating between the small-town feel of Alabama and the bigger footprint of Columbus.

• Phenix City, AL — Our most frequent local run, just over the river from Fort Mitchell.
• Columbus, GA — Crews cross the bridges into Columbus multiple times a week, from Midtown to the neighborhoods near Fort Moore’s main gate.
• Smiths Station, AL — A shorter haul up toward Lee County, common for growing families moving out of Phenix City.
• Opelika, AL — Historic downtown homes and newer subdivisions alike, along the I-185 corridor.
• Auburn, AL — Student apartments, single-family homes, and the occasional faculty relocation tied to the university calendar.

Beyond these five, we regularly work smaller communities throughout the Chattahoochee Valley — anywhere within a reasonable run of US-280 or I-185 is fair game for Dallas Kimbrel’s crew to quote. If your address isn’t listed above, that doesn’t mean we skip it; it usually just means the page hasn’t been written yet.
