Atomic Moving and Labor runs out of Fort Mitchell, right along the Chattahoochee, and our trucks cross that river into Columbus about as often as they stay on the Alabama side. Cole Ferris started this company in 2015 after years of loading trucks at the Fort Moore gate for soldiers on PCS orders, and that background still shapes how the crew operates: fast, organized, and comfortable with deadlines nobody can move. Below is the full lineup of what our crews handle, from a one-bedroom apartment in Phenix City to a cross-country haul timed around report dates.

• Local Moving — Household moves across Russell County, Phenix City, and the Columbus side of the river, usually wrapped up in a single day.
• Long-Distance Moving — Dallas Kimbrel runs point on interstate hauls, including the routes military families travel most between Fort Moore and other posts.
• Residential Moving — Full house moves, from small ranch homes off US-280 to bigger properties out toward Opelika.
• Apartment Moving — Stairs, elevators, tight loading zones — the crew handles complexes on both sides of the state line without adding surprise fees for a third-floor walk-up.
• Full-Service Packing — Our team boxes a kitchen or an entire house the same way we’d want ours packed, with labeling that actually helps on the other end.
• Piano Moving — Uprights and grands, moved with the rigging and manpower a 500-pound instrument actually requires.
• Safe & Gun Safe Moving — Cole’s crews have carried gun safes down staircases in half the houses in this valley; we bring the right equipment so floors and stair rails come out fine.
• Short-Term Storage — A holding spot when your closing date and move date don’t line up, or when a PCS timeline shifts on you.
