Send us your move details through the quote form and Brianna Sutton will follow up with pricing based on the actual size and scope of your move, not a generic flat rate. Long-distance jobs get a load plan from Dallas Kimbrel before we quote a final number, since distance, weight, and timeline all factor in.
Do you require a deposit to book a move?
Most bookings require a deposit to hold your date, which gets applied straight to your final invoice. Brianna will spell out the exact amount and terms when she confirms your booking, so there's nothing vague about it later.
What actually happens on moving day?
Trace Boykin dispatches your crew with a confirmed arrival window, and the lead on-site walks the home with you before anything gets loaded so everyone's working from the same plan. From there it's loading, transport, and unload, with Trace tracking progress from the office in case your timeline shifts.
What's included in a standard move?
A standard move includes loading, transport, and unloading of your furniture and boxed belongings, plus basic protective wrapping for furniture. Packing materials, full packing service, and specialty handling for items like pianos or safes are quoted separately since they change the labor and equipment needed.
Do you offer storage if my move dates don't line up?
Yes, we offer short-term storage for situations where your old place closes before your new one is ready, or when a PCS timeline shifts on short notice. Ask about storage when you request your quote so we can plan the handoff into your overall schedule.
How are long-distance moves different from local ones?
Long-distance moves go through Dallas Kimbrel, who builds a load plan and firm delivery window before the truck ever gets packed, since these jobs involve more coordination than a same-day local move. We run routes like Fort Mitchell to Atlanta, Nashville, Charlotte, Orlando, and Fayetteville regularly, including the military relocations tied to Fort Moore reassignments.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my move?
Let us know as early as you can so Trace can reassign your crew's time to another job. The specific cancellation and rescheduling terms tied to your deposit will be in your booking confirmation, and we'll work with you on timing changes whenever possible, especially for military moves with shifting orders.
Can you pack my whole house, or just part of it?
Either way works. Some customers want the full-service treatment where our crew packs everything room by room, and others just want help with the kitchen, garage, or a few fragile items while they handle the rest themselves. Tell us what you'd rather not deal with and we'll quote accordingly.
Can you move a piano or a gun safe?
Yes, both are common jobs for us. Piano moves and gun safe moves get quoted separately from a standard move because they require specific rigging equipment and extra manpower, and Cole makes sure the crew assigned has handled that particular item type before.
What is the labor-only service, exactly?
Renee Hargrove leads crews that just provide the muscle — loading or unloading a rental truck or a POD you've already arranged, without one of our own trucks involved. It's a good fit if you're handling the truck rental yourself but don't want to do the heavy lifting, and it's priced differently than a full-service move since we're not providing transport.
