Really professional. There seems to be an employee there to pick up the slack if ever any. It makes for an otherwise stressed situation, perfect. Thanks.
Send us a date; Renee schedules the packing crew to finish a day ahead of the actual move.
Brianna can often quote it from your description alone.
Packing is the part of a move that eats the most time and causes the most damage when it’s rushed, which is exactly why Renee Hargrove’s crew exists as its own specialty inside Atomic Moving and Labor. Renee normally leads our labor-only loading crews, but she’s built out a packing team that runs ahead of move day and treats packing as a skilled job in its own right, not something bolted onto the loading crew’s morning.
A packing crew shows up a day or two ahead of your move, works room by room, and labels every box by destination room and contents so unloading day goes fast. Kitchens, with their breakables and odd-shaped items, usually get their own dedicated packer rather than being split across the crew. Closets, garages, and off-season storage areas get sorted and boxed the same way.
Not every household wants or needs everything packed by a crew. Some customers pack their own clothes and personal items but want the kitchen and garage handled professionally. We quote both ways — a full pack covering the entire house, or a partial pack targeting specific rooms — so you’re not paying for packing help you don’t need.
Renee’s crew also offers unpacking at your new address, which matters most on long-distance and PCS moves where you’re trying to get a household functional again on a tight timeline. Boxes come off in the room they’re labeled for, and on request the crew will unpack kitchens and closets so you’re not living out of boxes for the first two weeks in a new house.
Mirrors, artwork, glass tabletops, and electronics get their own packing approach rather than generic bubble wrap and a box. If your move also includes a piano or a gun safe, those get handled by our specialty rigging crew separately — packing and heavy specialty items are coordinated together so nothing gets missed on move day.
You won't see these listed as extras on the invoice — they're just part of how a Fort Mitchell job gets done.

The move was efficient and no issues noted at all. Employees were professional and kind and ensured everything was packed safely but quickly. Your company always provides great service.
Movers were fantastic. On time, efficient and got the job done in an hour.
Same Fort Mitchell crew handles all of these across the Chattahoochee Valley, not a separate subcontractor per service.
Dallas or Renee walks the job first, so whoever shows up already knows your floor plan.
One truck, one crew, door to door on our own DOT/MC authority — no load-sharing with strangers.
From a Phenix City ranch house to a Fort Mitchell double-wide, same crew handles the whole job.
We know which Columbus complexes need a reservation for the freight elevator and which don't.
A baby grand and an upright move nothing alike, and Dallas's crew knows the difference before they ever touch a leg or a pedal.
Dallas brings the heavy-duty dollies out for anything north of 800 pounds, gun safes included.
Two addresses is enough for our Fort Mitchell office to send back a written flat rate, usually the same business day.
