Renee’s crews are built around the “Labor” half of Atomic Moving and Labor’s name — jobs where you’ve already got a rental truck, a POD, or a storage unit, and you just need strong, experienced hands to load or unload it. That’s a different job than a full move with our trucks, and it’s priced differently: hourly labor, no truck rental markup, no long-distance freight. If you’re filling a storage unit yourself, or a POD container is sitting in your driveway with a deadline to load it, Renee’s crew handles exactly that.
When This Combination Makes Sense
A common scenario: you’re between houses in Phenix City or Opelika, your new place isn’t ready, and you’d rather not pay full moving rates just to move things twenty feet into a storage unit. We can load your unit with our own crew, store it at our facility, then have the same crew load it back out onto a truck when your new address is ready — all under one point of contact instead of juggling a separate storage company and a separate labor company.

Yes, this is exactly what Renee's labor-only crews handle — loading or unloading a rental truck, POD, or storage unit on an hourly basis without our own truck involved. It's priced as labor only, not a full moving service.
Do you offer storage-in-transit for long-distance moves?
Yes, if there's a gap between your pickup date and when your new place is ready, we can hold your household goods at our own facility in between. This comes up often with PCS timing and long-distance closings that don't line up perfectly.
Can the same crew load our storage unit now and unload it later?
Yes, we can have the same crew load your unit, store your items at our facility, and then unload onto a truck when you're ready, all coordinated through one point of contact. Just let dispatch know the expected timeline when you book.
